Data of National Bureau of Statistics show that in 2018, the online retail amount nationwide reached RMB 9.01 trillion; the growth rate of the market size decreased from 67.9% in 2012 to 25.5% in 2018; the online traffic growth was obviously slowed down and the cost of customer acquisition was gradually increased, so the transformation is urgent and offline traffic has returned to the view of the public. As technologies like 4G, 5G and WIFI in our country keep making breakthroughs, the application technologies such as machine vision, AI algorithm and automatic payment have become the irreversible development trend of the retail industry. Meanwhile, countrymen have gradually formed the habit of mobile payment and the Chinese business has entered the development era of "cash-free payment".
Early in 2017, China Unattended Retail Conference & Exhibition (briefly as: UR-EXPO) was successful debuted in Shanghai New International Expo Center; In 2018, it was expanded to 3 galleries; In August 2019, it was successfully moved to National Exhibition and Convention Center (Hongqiao, Shanghai). Its success for the consecutive three years has promoted UR-EXPO to a new level. In February 2020, we will move southwards and settle in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. In 2020, the 4th Shenzhen UR-EXPO, Shenzhen International Smart Retail Digital Expo, Shenzhen International Private Brand Expo will greet over 300 domestic and foreign exhibitors with three galleries, with the area of 27,000 square meters, and provide the one-stop purchase exchange platform for the retail industry, so that they may share the business information and explore the intelligent and digitalized software and hardware solutions to retail.
